Hello! We are FLOOR SIXTEEN. As a musical group, we gathered in 2009 in Belarus, a European country located between Poland and Russia.
Everything began on the sixteenth floor on the outskirts of the city of Minsk (the capital of Belarus). That's where we first came to the idea that we should start to play music the three of us were really interested in. Although it is worth noting that the musical tastes of everyone at that time were very different...
For us our music is, first of all an opportunity to express ourselves. We love our songs, because they help us break free from domestic problems and help us grow. Rise above ourselves, as people.
The songs of FLOOR SIXTEEN are our reaction to our surrounding reality. We hope that our music will help YOU to formulate questions of yourself, as well as reach answers to them. For this is exactly what happens to us when we are working on our songs.
We do not want to hang any kind of the labels on our creativity. Because for us our art work is a way to convey positive feelings and mood. We hope that through our songs YOU will try to look at this world with a little bit the other hand, with LOVE!

Last month, as usual, we awoke once again groggy from lack of sleep, answering fan letters and negotiating with big labels. There was some discussion as to what our next move should be so we decided to do a new demo disc. Our old one wasn’t doing so well, (probably because we never actually recorded it).
It so happens that if something is meant to be, it will be. That's the story of FLOOR SIXTEEN. Without thinking twice, we got into the car and went to . . . Austria! It turned out that in addition to desire, having the songs, the instruments, the rehearsal time, the talent and, most importantly the car, nothing is impossible!
